I'm also writing a novel called The Dragon Who Flew Away. This is the blurb:
Lance Valentyne is a unicorn professor of dragon studies at the Leaxonia College of Science and Magicianship. When he's called away to a hospital in Frittas to treat a patient who is half-human, half dragon, it turns his whole world upside down. To save this tortured creature, he must face the wrath of a forgotten people. And confront their own dark pasts which have brought them together.

I started writing in March 2020, just as the pandemic hit in Tasmania. It started as a couple of characters I was sketching in my sketchbook. I got sidetracked thinking about the backstory, and one thing lead to another.
