•Hello and welcome to The Draconic Summit autumn 2022 discord server! This gathering is a draconic/dragonkind centric (yet not exclusive) assemblage that anyone from all walks of life can attend. To ensure that this event is safe for everyone, we will have to lay down some ground rules to keep everything in order. If you have a question about these rules, please DM a staff member with your inquiry. Breaking the rules could lead to being muted, kicked, or banned from the event, keep in mind. Remember that no one has to be “draconic enough” to join this event and be accepted as a dragon. All dragons are welcome, no matter who they are, or what they look like. <•> 1.Statements which are derogatory or inflammatory to any individual, culture, race, religion, or background are strictly forbidden, and will not be tolerated. Statements such as these count as harassment, and if you are caught engaging in such behavior, you will be banned from The Draconic Summit. <•> 2.Political arguments/debates are not to take place during this event. No matter which side of the political spectrum you are on, conversations like such get heated. This is not the time and place to engage in such heated conversations. <•> 3.If you have an issue with another member, do not mention such in the server. Contact a staff member with your concern and we will take care of the problem. Starting drama is not the right way to go about such things. <•> 4.To get access to the mature section of the discord server, you will need to provide proof of your physical age. This will be done via a third party age verification system, or by providing a picture of your ID to a staff member via DM before the event. There is no other way to access this section of the server. <•> (edited)

5.When venting in the proper channels, please do your best to spoiler tag potentially triggering topics, and keep oneself from getting too heated. We understand that everyone has to vent, though keep in mind this is a public event, and not truly the best place to let loose. <•> 6.Discussing or supporting illegal activity such as shoplifting, art theft, assault, harassment, stalking, or otherwise are absolutely not allowed. If you are caught discussing such topics, staff may be forced to contact the proper authorities. <•> 7.Staff members reserve the right to ban anyone they believe is causing trouble or starting drama during the event. Staff also reserves the right to ban any individual with a background of harassing others or engaging in drama. If you feel this rule is being abused, please contact @lunastredraconis. <•> 8.Constructive criticism should always be encouraged, however be respectful when someone does not wish to have their identity and sense of self questioned. Just be respectful of other members and their identities.

<•> 9.Please refrain from making extraordinary and outrageous claims about yourself. Remember that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. <•> 10.Misanthropy, elitism, and bossing others around is unacceptable. You are not above others, no matter what you believe yourself to be. If you feel an attendee is being elitist, please contact a staff member. <•> 11.Introductions are mandatory in order to receive the attendee role and to get access to the rest of the channels. Please follow the introduction form and post your introduction in the introductions channel. In the additional information section, please add the key word, which is draconian. <•> 12.Despite all of these rules, please do have fun!! This event is meant to be a safe place for dragons to gather and share knowledge, and individuals of all kinds to learn about the draconic community! All dragons are welcome here!

•Disclaimer <•> •Any individual who has been found to be lying about their age in order to bypass the age verification process to enter the mature area will be banned from the draconic summit permanently. Additionally, we will also warn affiliated otherkin events and groups about said dangerous behavior. The Draconic Summit is also not liable or responsible for underage individuals who lie about their age. Do not think you can get away with it, we are far more sharp eyed than you think. (edited)
