I was still transmasculine in my past life, so annoyingly I don't really know what kind of courtship rituals we had back then? which is really annoying since I wish I could share those with my current partners (edited)

I myself am Genderfluid, and in addition to being Asexual my fluidity tends to lean away from my AGAB, so sexual concepts, especially fantasies, can actually sometimes trigger dysphoria in me. I find I have more success fantasizing myself as a male in whatever I'm imagining, unless my fantasy involves being a dragon. My dragon identity is solidly female and getting shifty enough is one way I can get my gender to swing into girl mode lol

I never laid eggs myself as a dragon, but I did raise a hatchling and was present for his hatching. I wrote it down somewhere, perhaps I should share it in one of the Draconic Experiences channels...

Warcraft dragons are enormous and the eggs are actually kinda weird, whelps are consious in their eggs and when born, are already the equivilent of a teenager, growing to a young adult by the age of about 9 for at least the black dragonflight before slowing down dramatically

Meditation and astral travel helped me tons.

My species breeds fairly rarely, too. Only a very small number of us ever mate, and not all matings produce offspring, sometimes it's "a dud" so to speak lol Any given clutch is also fairly small, usually three to five eggs. Most eggs are viable and make it to hatching, but occasionally an egg will... well, simply never hatch.

I think I didn't have offspring since if I did I would have any kind of mother instinct or at least some kind of feeling that I had some hatchlings back home, but... nothing So I guess I was alone or had some troubles with laying eggs or something (edited)

There are rare times when mine can accomplish this, but it's not common.

I will get what counts for my Ace ass as an increase in libido in the spring and fall, accompanied by "baby fever" and an intense "nesting instinct". I am Tokophobic, so my baby fever takes the form of wanting to adopt... anything. Animals, figurines, headmates... actually come to think of it, a fair number of our system members have popped up while I'm that mode... Also humans, baby and otherwise. I'll enter a "must befriend all the peeps" mode as well. But I also will have very memorable erotic dreams, which is generally how my body takes care of its occasional sexual urges generally (I don't usually need or have a desire to masturbate, I tend to get bored about halfway through lol), and I will fuss with my bedroom constantly, rearranging things, thinking about ways to reorganize stuff, going through my stuff and looking to see if there's anything I don't want to keep anymore, etc.

Snoot nuzzling and touching of wings are the main ways to show affection in my species. A lot of our most intimate interactions are mental in nature, though.

Fighting is forbidden for my species, but that's because before we became "civilized" we were incredibly vicious fighters. Back in our warlike days, we fought in whatever ways we could think of. There wasn't much finesse, there was just trying to kill or maim the enemy dragons while not being killed or maimed yourself. The closest things dragons of my time participated in to fighting would be unbonded mating flights. Basically females in estrus would gather and fly, and those males who wished to pass on their genes to the next generation would try to catch them while also trying to stop the other males from getting to the females. There was no hitting, biting, or clawing allowed though because of the risk of injury or death. So it was more an aerobatics competition, and a test of stamina.

We would make very ornate weapons for recreational fights, not so much claw or tail gear since we didn't really need it, but things similar to spears, a ranged weapon similar to a longbow that was held with our tails, ect. I also remember a kind of neckless weapon that we held in our jaws and would let us aim breath attacks much easier

Literally my favorite food of all time was this fish that resembled the sturgeons of Earth, but my species was semi-omnivorous. We couldn't have sugar though, or at least not more than a couple grams of it.

I'm not sure exactly how we did adulthood and aging but I know I was considered rather old by dragon standards by the time I got a mate.

We didn't have anything of that nature, we didn't really... need it. Because our mental prowess was very advanced we... well... we could finish through the power of thought alone, basically. Sex was really only used for procreation. Anything else, you could telekinetically pleasure another dragon, or pleasure yourself if you didn't want to be that close with another dragon.

I don't think we had thumbs or anything from my past life's version of pyrriah, but we did have a lot of complex systems of craft

In the graphic novel, the art style is highly simplified and they do actually have "thumbs" though.

We didn't have hands in even the loosest sense of the word. Our paws had massive claws on them, rendering fine motor skill basically impossible for them. We did have a "thumb claw" on our wings and we used it as a sort of semi-hand.

While Drakmanka is an approximation of my draconic name, I cannot for the life of me figure out/recall what it means. Which is odd because Hartborne and Aquarius are not the true names of my guardians, it is more of a translation of their names' meaning while I can't for the life of me recall what their actual names are. I wonder... can you actually imagine a shapeshifter who is in constant flux? Changing bodyshape at like.. lightspeed? Getting from energy to solid in milliseconds, a being that can have wings whenever and whereever it needs them.. that's how I imagine it. I think the reality shifting is not that problematic, too. Everybody is basically pure consciousness who can build their reality, but not really "destroy" others.
