Draconic Summit Spring 2023 - summit-announcements

I won’t be tagging everyone for this, however invite links to the summit will be given to those who signed up via email and through the draconic basin will be handed out in about two hours! If you see anything in the server that needs to be changed or addressed before attendees start to arrive, feel free to let one of us staff members know!

Hello new members and welcome to the draconic summit spring 2023 discord server! Please be sure to read over the rules we have in listed in the #summit-scroll-of-laws and make an introduction using the template we have provided. You may receive additional roles by going to the #deleted-channel and reacting to the messages there. The official schedule for the summit is listed in the #summit-schedule which lists all of the confirmed events that are set to be presented during the course of the weekend. If you want the mature role for the summit, please request the role in #deleted-channel if you have been verified to receive that role, or read about the verification process in #deleted-channel if you have not gone through the verification process yet. Greetings all and welcome to the draconic summit spring 2023! This event is meant to bring the draconic community together in a welcoming space where they can ask for advice, do questioning, and hang out with other dragons and draconic beings! •During the summit there will be multiple panels hosted covering multiple different topics that will take place throughout the weekend! All of these panels and the times they will be starting at will be displayed in the summit schedule channel in the server. Some of these events are discussion panels while are some are special event streams and lectures. Regardless, we still recommend you all attend at least some of the panels! Our event panelists have worked very hard putting together their scripts. •Please be sure to check out the artists in the den of artists category! Many of them are offering special commissions just for the spring summit! Go ahead and follow them and their socials and consider getting a commission from the artists who have them open! •Movies will be shown throughout the weekend of the summit, so be on the lookout for those timeframes! The movies that are being shown are dragon related, so prepare for some draconic feels! •With the introductions out of the way, I want to thank you all for listening in! If the other staff don’t have anything else to say before the opening ceremonies end, I wish you all a fun and productive summit! If any of you have any questions during the course of the event, please feel free to let us know! Have a happy summit all!

This won't be a change next summit, so consider this your only chance to have a chill discussion with other fellow draconics in voice chat during the course of the event. The last panel of the summit, my “panel”, will be hosted in the 18+ section of the server, so if you’re not verified as 18 or older you won’t be able to attend this panel.

@everyone with the last event of the spring summit nearly over, I want to thank you all for such a lovely weekend! It warmed my heart to see everyone have a good time at the event and enjoy all the panels and streams! This server will be set to read only Monday morning and the final attendee count will be announced soon before the server is set to read only. If you want to continue the conversations we had during the course of the event, have more watch parties, and have more group voice calls, I highly recommend you all join celestial spire, which is our 18+/adult oriented draconic server that has many productive and positive conversations on the daily!
